HOW YOU CAN HELP...
What we do...
Here at St. Joseph of Arimathea House, we pray. Several times a day, we pray
for our country and for the needs of individuals, and try to meet, or find ways to meet, the needs that come to us. We co-operate with a worldwide network of prayer-chains, and are actively involved in the Right-to-Life and Religious Freedom
movements (see our Newsletter at: http://arimatheanews.weebly.com).
What we need and why we need it...
Right now we're meeting in the tiny private chapel in the Rectory, and are limited in our available space.
We need a larger facility, in order to have room for:
1. ...a larger chapel and larger gathering space, for formal and informal prayer, Bible study and meetings;
2. ...temporarily welcoming disaster victims, young women who are referred by the crisis pregnancy centers with whom we're involved, and others who need a place of refuge;
3. ...offering hospitality to other occasional visitors;
4. ...a food and clothing bank.
Hopefully, out of this, a ministering community will grow.
People who donate to ministries like this are heroic. These are simple things, the ordinary, unglamorous tasks of Christian hospitality and concern. Yet, they're vital, and if they aren't supported they don't get done.
Would you like to help support us financially? or perhaps become a Prayer Partner or an Associate
